Inspiration and Style
With ever changing seas, skies and light of the Pembrokeshire coastline, dark tones of inspiration are never far from the surface.
I am also heavily influenced by the vibrant colours in nature, floral art work has become a large part of my recent collection of works.
I mostly work using a palette knife and cloths or rags. Oil on canvas and thick paint, to achieve an impasto style finish to each piece which results in a greater sense of energy.
This is the third year that I have exhibited my art during the summer at the Cloisters Gallery at St Davids Cathedral. I count myself fortunate to have the opportunity to do so in such an historic and beautiful building.
