The Smalls Lighthouse, lies just off the St.Davids coast, Wales. This is an original oil painting, painted using a palette knife, with lots of thick oil paint to capture the movement and the drama of the sea.
The Smalls lighthouse, was built in 1861 and has an interesting history, involving some mystery, so its always been on my mind to paint it.
